- The only curriculum offered at CFS is college-preparatory.
- Ninety percent of CFS seniors go on to four-year colleges immediately upon graduation.
- The school is for boys only, grades 7 through 12.
- Eighty percent of our students live on campus, while the other twenty percent commute each day.
- Every student is issued a portable laptop computer.
- Facilities are bright, clean and spacious.
- Tuition is assessed on a sliding scale.
- Admission to CFS is competitivewe are not the right school for every boy.

The Admissions Process
At CFS, candidates are evaluated on the basis of previous academic performance, school citizenship, standardized test results, teacher references and a personal interview. The application process includes the following items:
- The CFS Application for Admission, to be completed
and submitted with a non-refundable application fee
of $25.00 by May 1, 2007.
- Three reference forms, to be completed by the candidates current English teacher, math teacher, and school guidance counselor.
- A Release of Records Authorization, to be completed by the candidates parent or guardian, and then given to the candidates current school. The school will then send us the necessary records that will allow us to carefully assess the candidates readiness for CFS.
- The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is required of all applicants. When you request application materials, an SSAT registration booklet will be included. Please register for the next available test date at a location that is most convenient for you. Be sure to have scores sent to CFS using our SSAT code number of 2236 in the appropriate place on the registration form. You can get plenty of additional information about the SSAT, as well as register online, by visiting the following website: www.ssat.org.
- The Parents Financial Statement (PFS) is required
of all candidates who wish to be considered for financial
aid. The PFS will also be sent to you when you request
application materials. The PFS is also available online
at https://sss.ets.org/pfsHome/do.
It should be completed and mailed to the School &
Student Service for Financial Aid in the envelope
that is stapled in the PFS booklet. Be sure to have
the analysis of your financial information sent to
CFS by using our SSS code number of 2429 in the appropriate
place on the PFS.
- Finally, all candidates are required to visit CFS for a personal interview and a campus tour. Please call the Admissions Office (610-363-5347) and speak with Ellen Murray to schedule an appointment.
Please be assured that the CFS Admissions staff is eager to help you with the application process. Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance as you work through the various forms.
