CFS provides a comprehensive athletic program that strives to help each student reach his full potential intellectually, emotionally and physically. We believe that athletics is an extension of the classroom, providing a different learning arena to promote the School's educational ideals. The athletic experience at CFS is dedicated to teaching the principles of participation, developing the character of each student through competition and instilling the values of teamwork and cooperation.
Sports are part of a mandatory co-curricular program designed to build healthy minds and bodies. Teams at the varsity, junior varsity, junior varsity B and middle school levels compete interscholastically. In the fall, the boys participate in soccer, cross-country, golf, or fencing in the winter, basketball, wrestling, winter track, or fencing and in the spring, baseball, track, or tennis. Other supervised sports activities are available for boys in the upper school that desire a less competitive program.
CFS competes within the Keystone Scholastic Athletic Conference on the varsity and junior varsity level. The conference is comprised of five schools, two of which are boarding schools and three Christian day schools. CFS competes for championships within the league in soccer, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball and tennis.
