Go back: Home / Our School / Campus Life

The C.O.R.E. Community Service Program is a service-learning program designed to:

  • Involve students in their communities, both in school and beyond
  • Develop students’ sense of responsibility for their environment
  • Promote student leadership
  • Build students’ self-confidence

This is accomplished through participation in a wide range of community service projects and personal reflection upon completion of each project.

Community service projects include:

  • Race for the Cure
  • Walk for the Whisper
  • “Adopt a Family” Salvation Army Thanksgiving Program
  • United States Marine Corps Reserve “Toys for Tots” program
  • Greater Chester County Gem Show
  • MS Walk of Downingtown
  • Chester County Flower Show
  • Reading stories at Carl O. Benner Elementary School
