 During the summer, CFS offers a day camp opportunity to children ages five through twelve. This co-ed program lasts six weeks and offers parents an option of attending the entire summer or one of two three-week sessions. Before and after hours can also be arranged. Campers are required to bring their own sack lunch, but a snack is provided each afternoon.
Activities
Campers can participate in a wide variety of activities during the summer, each of which is supervised by a qualified Camp Counselor. The following are among the activities we have found to be most popular:
- Arts and crafts
- Nature
- Land Sports
- Tennis
- Soccer
- Archery
- Swimming
- Performing arts
- Computers
In addition to the above, past events such as stock car racing, magic shows, and wild life presentations, as well as our annual lip sync and Olympic competitions are just a few of the exciting activities that round out our dynamic program.
Counselors in Training
Candidates aged 13 and over are eligible to participate in the counselor in training (CIT) and the camp staff intern (CSI) programs. Both opportunities provide extensive training and certification for those who may wish to apply for a paid junior staff position upon reaching the eligible age.
